Nollywood screen idol Ramsey Nouah and beautiful Nkiru Sylvanus have described their latest European tour courtesy of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment as one of the greatest events of their lives as they had a direct contact with their fans all over Europe. From Ludwigshafen through Berlin, Belgium, Torino, Napoli, to Spain, Holland about 23 cities in all, the troupe which also included I go Dye, Maliki, Big Ben and Lucky Eronmonsele went on an all round entertainment conquest of Europe for over seven weeks. Several gifts of clothes, jewelry, cash came their way like they had never seen before. When contacted as soon as the group returned a few days ago, Ramsey exclaimed that the journey was worth it. He said “ I never knew that there are fans of Nollywood all over Europe as this tour exposed me to a lot. I saw first hand that there are indeed several Nigerians and African all over Europe all looking for Nollywood films and the stars. For the first time I felt so proud as a Nigerian that all our efforts as film producers and actors have not gone in vain.I wondered that the movies even got to Europe before they were even seen in Nigeria by Nigerian fans. This situation should be capitalised upon to consolidate on the successful enculturation of the world. Whether we love it or not, Nigerian films has done some much for Nigeria in terms of. Before the tour, several people had worried whether it was going to be worth the efforts but what I have seen has shown me that God works in a miraculous way and the organisers did a great job of the tour.
In Belgium, I was almost mobbed. The female fans couldn’t let me be as they besieged my hotel room and arrested me. I could not do any thing. I love to thank Isaac Izoya, the tour promoter for doing a good job. He had precision and timing as all the shows were sold out, my man ”

For Nkiru, life has never been too good because of what she experienced.. “I had been to Europe before courtesy of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment but we didn’t maximise our visit because we only ended up in Athens for only a few shows. This time around, the show was very well organised and we had a field day all through Europe. We were changing flights like we were going to the nearby market. What I could never comprehend was the show of affection and love by the showering of gifts
was shocked, I was happy and thank God for every thing”However, one person who seems so glad and thankful to God for the success of the shows is Isaac Izoya of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment who has since 2003, been promoting integration shows with Nigeria’s notable actors and actresses as its pivot. Especially coming as the first show after several years of facing the German slammer following allegations of human trafficking and others, Izoya gave it his best shot.“ I had to give it my best in terms of planning and spread.” he says. “We also had to take care of every person’s welfare the way we had never done before because all eyes were on us to see us fail. We used to do shows in eighteen cities but this one went through twenty three cities. Thank God for every thing. We had a great audience wherever we went to; a mixed audience of all races who wanted to be part of the shows to cleanse the mess that history had bequeathed us as racism. For the first time I saw people of other races hobnobbing with Africans especially in Barcelona where we made use of the football team’s Fans Auditorium. I see this as another victory for us as we strive to continue with the integration tours. In a moment, plans for the next shows will be out because the show must go on. We would love thank Nigeria’s Ambassador for his co-operation with us. He gave us all the support”.
